![]() ![]() The user should be able to choose which contacts folder, calendar, and task list (if multiples exist)they want to synch from outlook to the web. I'm not sure how you pull off the connectivity between an Internet user and the SQL database, but security will be of great concern. The main thing that I am concerned about is getting a client that I can prepackage send to a user based on Outlook or Outlook express that has to pass a username and password check (credentials provided by the user should allow for cached or saved credentials - my usernames are based on the person email address) as well as an embedded and hidden password to login to my system. This interaction should be two-way, accounting for changes on either side and stable with Outlook 2000 - 2003 and Outlook Express. I need an easily self branded utility that will allow my users to synch their Outlook with my website in a secure manner with a minimal amount of fuss. I have an Intranet site that holds contacts, tasks, and Calendar items (among other things) for subscribers with a SQL back end.
